Folks, you make my life worth living :)

I saw Dasvidaniya a few days back. And I recently heard about the tragic demise of a college friend. This all has left me with a sense of unpredictability of life. It has hence, provoked me to thank a few very special people in my life. (Caution: If you are not a close friend, move to the next post!)
  • My mom-for listening to all my stories, for enduring me always, for loving me no matter what. My dad-for treating me like a treasure, for loving me blindly. My bro-for being such a sweetheart, for always encouraging me to take my decisions myself. My bhabhi-for becoming a 2nd daughter to my family, for being such a caring friend.
  • Hemanth- for being my dream and my reality, for being synonymous to happiness, for being my strength, for being more than I could have asked for!
  • Ghata and Vijya-my childhood sweethearts- for making me feel so wanted, for never putting any conditions before friendship.
  • Faddu-for being so approachable whenever I needed a close friend, for valuing our friendship so much and for enduring me always.
  • Rajarshi-for keeping touch everyday even after college, for believing in me, for being my support system.
  • Khilan and KK for making the tenure in Bangy undoubtedly the best time of my life! You were beside me before I would need to ask you for anything. And Aggru, Bhasku, Gulti. For loving me immensely during my stay there (and I know you all still do). You all made me feel at home. We smiled, laughed and giggled all through. You guys are my best buddies for life!
  • My hostel wing- Hoyee, Liza, Neha, Paru, Punam, Ritika, Sanchu, Shraddha (In alphabetical order) for the fabulous memories of college life.. Our late night bhaant sessions, fun filled trips, movies, dance, jokes and PJs.. Sharing stories, experiences, views, feelings, clothes, notes, accessories.. I would like to include Jit here because I know him so well because of this group.. You all hold unique places in my heart.. And each of you knows how special you are!
  • Gloria and Gayatri-for your unconditional care. All I can ever pay you back is through my friendship and best wishes!
  • Soofi-Your affection and care means a lot to me buddy. We surely will have lots of good time to spend together!
  • Shilpi di-for being so caring all these years.. Annu di-for your care, for the fun we had together..
  • "Screw It Team" at Mu Sigma. And Shushrut. You guys made my days in Mu Sigma so much fun.
  • All the nice people (eg: Sarah) who came and went by.. You have been exceptionally sweet to me at some point in time. Thanks a ton!
I can never thank all of you enough. You make me realize how special my life is!

PS: All the people whose memories I want to wipe off - you have been special because the pain and hardship that you gave me actually changed me and made me mature off-late. So, thanks for coming into my life and thanks for going out. I just want to say - Take care, stay happy and stay away from my life. We were just not meant to be together forever!

I am so glad..to have you mom-dad!!!

Let me start my blog with a mention of the two most important people in my life..who are majorly responsible for what I am.. :)
Ever since I came to my senses, I appreciated my mom and dad for the kind of atmosphere they provided us at home. Unlike other kids, I cannot remember any fights or cold wars between my parents that troubled me. It is the peace and harmony at home that gave me a chance to be analytical about so many things in life. I was quite early to realize how different I would have been, had I spent my childhood in a tense environment. I had figured out that my mom tackled the issues between my bro and me, with a superb understanding of child psychology. She wasn't always fair to both of us, but always succeeded in making us both feel low together (never individually). She was never partial. Besides mom has been amazing me with her tolerant and compromising attitude. She surprises me with her instincts to judge people so well and with her tendency to adapt to the changing times.
On the other hand, dad amazes me with his strength, will power and guts. His way of looking at things so differently and being so compassionate to others inspires me a lot. Its his self-confidence and self-respect that made him rise so far above those who were once his peers. I am proud of how he has been balancing his professional and personal life so beautifully.
I am soooooo glad.........
to have you mom-dad!!
Thanks for blessing my life with your presence :)
