Late night gibberish II

I love this place. My room. My corner.

I feel numb, mesmerized by the beauty of this peaceful hour.

A fluorescent radiance subdues the splendor of the hues. Hues scattered all over, unplanned, like in a palette. The walls, roof and tiles in shades of beige. White doors. Brown furniture. Saffron table cloth. Rusty curtains with little leaves. Blue striped carpet. Cream bed sheet with blue and green stripes. Blue bolster cover and green pillow cover. The arrangement is pretty much intentional. But it looks accidental.

The silence has almost consumed me. All I can hear is the clock ticking. And my fingers typing on the keyboard.

I can smell the tender scent that I had applied around my neck today morning. That and the combined fragrances of my black Sunsilk shampoo and white Dove conditioner. I can feel an odor in the air that's characteristic of Delhi winters.

I can still savor the taste of pomegranate juice that I enjoyed moments back.

My cold legs feel cozy under this blanket- the blanket that smells of me. And the jersey provides me the warmth of a lover.

The occasional humming of mosquitoes around me signals me to turn on the mosquito repeller, turn off the lights and say good bye to my random feelings.

A glimpse of my moment:
